Find Products to Sell

We need products to sell. Some of us develop our own, but most of us sell products produced by someone else. No shame in that - the same is true for any grocer, hardware or book store. The question is where do you find reliable sources.

If you sell information products there is little risk since the product is available in unlimited supply ( as far as copying it goes ). But if you want to sell hardware or other physical products you need to be sure the supplier will be there when you need them.

If you sell on Ebay or have your own store, you need products. If you have the resources, you can buy wholesale and sell at a profit. If you have a small budget, you may want to use drop shippers. These are companies that make available lower cost products to registered resellers. That is, if you can sell their products on your site, they will give you a lower cost than you can find in a store on the internet or on the street. You have to make sure the price is low enough to give you a profit. There may be other resellers who are able to buy at wholesale prices that are even lower than dropship prices.

There are several sources of qualified drop ship venders.

Both are a one time fee for life time access.

Even after you have access to the vendor lists, you still need to check out the vendors before you risk money. First read their websites. Some are wholesalers but not dropshippers. Salehoo has a forum where you can read other people's experience and opinion of venders.  For your first ventures, make certain the vendor is not going to be a problem. Research them.

Ebay is also a source of products. In wholesale lots.  Do a search for wholesale or lots.  That or some other source of  liquidation products requires a big down payment for a certain lot size. And the risk is on you.  Drop shipping provides a smaller profit but without the risk.
